I enjoyed this book a lot. I'm okay with the ending that so many people disliked. Maybe it is a matter of personal preference, but I found the book to be light enough to escape when I was tired, and it still went beyond some of the shallow subject matter of its genre.
I have just finished reading this book and I feel like I want to throw it against the wall. So immersed are you in their little saga, that you are gut-punched at the end. I was unprepared for the final chapters of this novel and they left me feeling like I had been attacked. You go through the journey with Cannie and Joy and you are immersed in their journeys. I couldn't read past chapter 37.It was unnecessarily tragic and sad. I should have listened to the other reviews.I am either selling or giving away my copy.
It made me cry out loud, laugh out loud, and feel like I spent time with an old friend, Cannie Shapiro. Thanks for writing another one, JW. I hope to hear from Cannie again some day. What a gift.
i enjoyed this book very much, but it was an emotional journey for the mother in the story and also for the daughter. The ending was tragic for me, but that is due to my own fears. Overall a book worth reading and easy to read.
I would give this book 1 1/2 star is it would let me. That was such a cruel and horrible mistake that made me want to stop reading.
What happen to Candace. Gone was her wit and spark that made you fall in love with her.
Let me start by saying that I loved Good in Bed and this sequel was not worth the money spent. But killing Peter is where I draw the line.
She was such a nag in this book. And the daughter was so ungrateful, but then most teenagers are.
I am so glad that I read a review that prepared me for it, but even then it still seems like such a cruel joke. Save your money, I wish someone had warn me.
